Picsolo
Privacy Policy
Effective July 5, 2026
Picsolo is a local photo organization and photo diary app. This policy explains how Picsolo handles data on your device, in iCloud sync, and during App Store purchases.
Data Picsolo Processes
After you grant permission, Picsolo reads photos, videos, albums, capture dates, location information, file-size metadata, and system album identifiers from the system photo library on your device. This supports the timeline, footprint map, album organization, duplicate or similar-photo cleanup, and photo diary features.
When you write a diary entry, the app stores the text, date, linked photo identifiers, selected location, and settings such as language, appearance, Pro status, and sync preferences.
How We Use This Data
Picsolo uses this data only to provide features you use in the app, including browsing by time, viewing photos on a map, organizing albums, reviewing cleanup candidates, writing diaries, importing or exporting diary backups, and restoring Pro access.
The current version does not include ads, tracking, third-party analytics SDKs, or a Picsolo account system. Picsolo does not upload original photos, thumbnails, or diary content to Picsolo-owned servers.
iCloud Sync
If you turn on photo diary sync, diary text, dates, locations, linked photo identifiers, and update or deletion states sync across devices signed in to your Apple ID through Apple iCloud. This sync does not upload original photos or thumbnails. iCloud data is handled by Apple's iCloud service and can be managed in iOS Settings.
Permissions and Control
You can change photo, location, and iCloud permissions at any time in iOS Settings. If a permission is turned off, related features may stop working. With iOS Limited Photos access, Picsolo can only read the photos you allow. Location is used only after you authorize it or select a location for diary and map features.
Purchase Information
Pro purchase, restoration, billing, tax, and refund flows are handled by Apple App Store and StoreKit. Picsolo reads only the product identifier, entitlement state, purchase date, and verification result returned by Apple. Picsolo does not access your bank card number, payment password, or full Apple ID credentials.
Retention and Deletion
Diary entries, settings, organization records, and cache data are stored mainly on your device. You can delete diary entries, clear cache, export diary backups, or uninstall the app to remove local app data. If iCloud sync is enabled, diary updates and deletions may sync to your other Apple ID devices.
Updates and Contact
If Picsolo adds accounts, server-side services, feedback forms, analytics, third-party SDKs, or other features that change data handling, we will update this policy and the App Store privacy information as needed. For privacy or support questions, contact support@cocoboloa.com.
